Eligibility extends to veterans and active-duty military members, educators, healthcare professionals, first responders, police officers, firefighters, and employees of qualifying preferred employer organizations. Retired professionals from eligible fields and organizations may also qualify.

Moving to Cary from another city or state? We welcome relocating residents and recognize that many of our future neighbors are bringing years of professional experience with them. Individuals who are currently employed by, or have retired from, a qualifying profession or organization may be eligible for the program regardless of where they previously worked.
